The Karen Burger: Start Up Edition pack sale and blends are now complete and we are well on the way to making our Burger Empire a reality thanks to our awesome team of Franchisees managing to take over the London fast food scene. That’s right folks, we now have a total of 262 restaurants across Englands Capital.
BURGER MANIA HITS THE WAX BLOCKCHAIN
Well, that escalated quickly! Firstly, thank you to all our franchisees who got down to some serious Karen Burger collecting, trading and blending over NFTopia weekend. We are not exaggerating when we say, the original plan was to sell between between 100/200 packs. We sold 517, which is mind-blowing, further to this, we had insane (and very unexpected) activity on the secondary market.
STAKING REVIEW
This success has meant we have ended up with a whopping 21,000 WAXP in the WAXDAO Staking Pool and have slightly buffed three of the assets in the interest of balancing. The Influence’d Reasturant now has a x5 multiplier, the Meme’d Van is +0.01 WAXP PH and the restaurant has a x6 multiplier. Staking is from 19hrs UTC on Friday 4th August until 19hrs UTC on Friday 4th September. The Disco Burger and NFTopia Food Van will both have an hourly rate of 0.02 WAXP PH.

THE (NEAR) FUTURE
We can 100% say the Start Up Edition was a success and we are proud to announce a Second Edition is currently in development which will debut in Autumn 2023. More details coming very soon. We are in the process of adding in voting to WAXDAO so all Franchisees can have a say on future developments - we really want to encourage everyones participation in the development of the brand - we know you are full of ideas (first is where we go next)! You can see some of our initial ideas in the FAQ. Note: all Food Vans and Restaurants will continue to earn WAXP (at a reduced rate) during the Second Edition.
